When Your Brake Pedal Feels Spongy It's Time for Service

If your brake pedal feels spongy when you press down on the pedal, it's time to have your car serviced at Chilson's Corner Motors of Cadott. A spongy brake pedal can mean there is moisture within your braking system, or that something is wrong with the master cylinder. Don't drive around with a car that has a spongy brake pedal, and get help right away.

Your brake pedal can also feel as though you are pressing all the way to the floor. If there is a leak in the brake fluid, eventually your brakes may not work at all. If you press on the brake pedal and it's harder to press than normal, your brakes need work.

Never ignore a problem with your brake pedal. If you don't get service for your car, you will end up driving around in a vehicle that isn't safe. Get the problem repaired so that you are safe on the road.
